Maywood completed a two-weekend concert series on Friday at Club D-Mask-Us in Lee Summit. Preceded by solo artist Christopher Ames, Maywood played over an hour's worth of original tunes and a handful of covers. It was a great event and we're thankful for everyone coming out to join us!
Last weekends concerts at the Kingdom Kafe in Jefferson City and First Baptist Church of Albany were equally fun and exciting for us! Thanks to the Archers and the Memorial family for opening their doors to us at the Kafe, and everyone in the Albany community (and surrounding areas) for bringing Maywood to their church home.

D-Now @ Oak Grove
Last weekend, Maywood joined the students of First Baptist Church in Oak Grove, MO for their fall Disciple Now retreat. We've played at Oak Grove a couple of times before and we often rehearse in their excellent facilities when we're in town. This student body is close to our hearts as this is the home church of our very own Jared Prindle.
Broken For You acoustic w/ Rosielee
I would like to introduce you all to Rosielee, my (and Joel's) cousin and a reputable influence regarding all things musical. (And spiritual for that matter!) She's a singer/songwriter, herself, and I hope to work with her much more in the future. She wrote this cello part in one day while visiting me in Omaha. It's gorgeous - be listening for it on the album.

D-Now Cali 2.0
Maywood just wrapped up an incredible weekend in California, MO, where we led worship for almost 100 kids and adult workers. The theme was CONSUMED: Focus verse was Romans 12:1 - "Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual act of worship."
