Like bears in winter

Maywood completed a two-weekend concert series on Friday at Club D-Mask-Us in Lee Summit. Preceded by solo artist Christopher Ames, Maywood played over an hour's worth of original tunes and a handful of covers. It was a great event and we're thankful for everyone coming out to join us!
Last weekends concerts at the Kingdom Kafe in Jefferson City and First Baptist Church of Albany were equally fun and exciting for us! Thanks to the Archers and the Memorial family for opening their doors to us at the Kafe, and everyone in the Albany community (and surrounding areas) for bringing Maywood to their church home.
Now Maywood has committed to a brief hibernation so we can focus on getting this record done. People seem to be getting a little impatient; those that have been following us for awhile now are flat-out asking "When's that record gonna drop?!?" Well, we are working hard and giving all the time we have to make that happen. We've been praying about this project for over a year, and slowly but surely it's piecing together. We're excited about what will be on our first album and can't wait to have something for you to get your hands (and ears) on! You can pray for our diligence in completing this record and more importantly that God would bless it.
Thank you to all of our Maywood family (yes, that means you now!) ~
