My Musical Start: My dad and grandfather can play piano. My grandfather has won the Sedalia, MO Scott Joplin Ragtime competition many times. But I first started playing when I was 6 and took lessons from Joel and Sarah's grandmother, Barbara Driskell. My family moved to Oak Grove and I finished up my lessons with my grandfather.
My Musical Influences: David Crowder Band, Audio Adrenaline, Relient K, Jason Mraz, Sherwood, The Rocket Summer, Gaither Vocal Band, The Beatles, Sandi Patti, (and that obviously means...) Gary Driskell, Hillsong United, Switchfoot, Mae, The Postal Service, Mutemath, and most recently Owl City.
Something Unique: I was all state on the TUBA. Yes, the tuba.
Something Funny: When I wake up in the morning I look like batman because my hair stands straight on either side of my head. And I enjoy rediculously poppy music such as the Spice Girls and Britney Spears. (oh no. I'm gonna regret posting that.)
